Strawberries 'n' Cream... And I Need Advice.

It's almost 1pm on Sunday afternoon and I am slurping up the most refreshing protein smoothie.  It may not look glamorous, but don't judge a book by it's cover because it is one fine blended piece of art.  Cooking is art, yes?  Or blending shall I say?  I digress.

This makes one very large bowl for a very hungry Spartan (I just finished Spartan practice) or two smaller servings for two less hungry people who just need an afternoon boost.  I needed to fill my stomach so I made sure to amp up the ingredients and macro (proteins, fat and carbs) content.

I feel like a very sharing person today so here is the recipe:

- 6 large frozen strawberries (Mine were fresh when I bought them and I waited until they were very ripe to freeze them... I think this way brings out the best flavors- instead of using frozen berries from a bag)
- 1 large handful fresh baby spinach
-2 pinches of flaxseed
-1/2 individual bag of Vegan1 Vanilla Protein Powder (I think this specific protein makes the "creamy" taste.  Link below for the protein powder)
-1 cup almond milk  (I use Silk)
-1 tbsp vanilla extract
-1 tsp honey
-3 ice cubes

Place all the ingredients into a blender and let it rip.  Enjoy!

Random Bits:

This is more of a question for you!  I need advice.  I have been battling acne for the past couple months due to stress.  It is mainly on my jaw line and neck.  It is not cute, nor is it fun.  I have tried many things:

-Spirulina capsules
-Various vitamins
-Smoothies packed with veggies/fruits
-Lemon Water
-Oil washing method
-Frankincense
-Commercial Acne washes
-Exfoliators
-Raw honey masks

I was recommended to a great dermatologist from a client which I am beyond thankful for, but if I can holistically remedy this, that would be great.  If not, the doc is my next option.  Do you have any advice?
